I may not be around much for the next....while. Not really sure. Personal stuff that I don't really want to talk about. Don't let the game be held up because of me if I don't post. Consider Kal to be away at the Deneith enclave and he'll catch up eventually.

They're moving our offices today into the new suite for International Programs. I don't anticipate this going smoothly. I've got a couple things to finish before my computer gets disassembled, and since I don't know when that'll be other than some time today, I've got to get cracking. Back before the move, if I can make it. Otherwise, much much later today, probably. They ended up moving half of my office. The remainder will go sometime today. I'd think it would be moved this morning, but, hey, I thought that the whole thing would be moved on Friday, so what the heck do I know? The aggravating part -- the computer's set up in the old office, but everything I've been working on, and could be working on this morning, has been removed from my desk and packed into a box and moved to the new office. I'm feeling very frustrated by this situation, especially the stretch-it-out-over-two-days part. Let's kick some bad-guy and/or monster butt! |

I will be out of the office Tuesday and Thursday (having passed background, I now need to take a full phyical [T] and a psychological eval [Th]) before I can start working as a Probation Officer or Group Counselor. I will be able to check on things in the evenings, though.

Wow...crazy time here at GenCon. Tomorrow is the last day, and I'll be heading back. Thanks for your patience, y'all. I'll need some catch up time when I get back...and I have a TON of writing revisions to work on as well as day job work stuff.
But I'm very much in the spirit of gaming, so I'll be checking back in here soon enough.

While everyone else in America has the day off today, I will be working ALL day, so if anyone decides to post something, I likely won't respond to it until later tonight. Although, with the amount of activity we've had lately, I don't think I'm too worried.  |

I will be heading out of town this weekend and will not be back until late Sunday. I doubt I will have internet connection, so Jeff, please feel free to play Streko as you see fit.
He will follow Taymra's lead and do what he can to protect innocents and heal the wounded...and destroy every undead he sees with extreme prejudice.

My mom's got some major surgery today, so I'll be away from a computer most of the day. Being in waiting rooms for hours on end can get boring, so I'll probably try and check in via blackberry, but I don't know that I'll be able to post.

I'm not around much today. Big project to finish at work this AM, training sessions this PM, and a freelance project I've got to get closer to completing once home this evening. I sent Darren a PM concerning what Pel's thinking since Kal's the tactician, at least for this encounter. Hope that helps with keeping things moving.

I'm gone most of today. Taking the wife and kid to the PA Renn Faire. She's going to be so cute all dressed up as a princess! Then I'm having people over tonight, so I don't imagine I'll be checking in again until late. Don't have too much fun without me! |

New office furniture arrives sometime today -- something I was warned about only an hour before leaving work yesterday -- and I have to get the old furniture ready to move out so that the new furniture can move in. Never mind that I have actual, you know, work to do. Anyway, I have no idea how this is going to affect my Internet access or general availability. If I can't check in during the day, I'll at least check in from home after work.

I will not be available Monday afternoon and all day Tuesday. I will be out of town taking another psychological evaluation to see if I am fit to be a Deputy Probation Officer. If not, a life of paper-pushing is in store for me (or going insane and actually trying to make money as a director/writer).
I hope to be back Tuesday evening and I will let everyone know how things go as soon as I know myself...
Jeff, if you need Streko to do anything, I trust you to take care of him. Thanks!

VINDICATION! I AM NOT INSANE!!
Yes, indeed, THIS psychological evaluator said she was passing me and was amazed at the reason for the previous evaluator's interpretation of failure.
Apparently, 20 years ago, while in the military overseas (Clark Air Base - Philippines), I got drunk once and had a blackout. Tie that
with the fact that my dad was an active alcoholic during most of my youth (he hasn't had a drink in 20 years...nor a cigarette for that matter - and he was a pack a day guy - not to mention he isn't even my biological father...so don't slam with me with genetics!) and for that, I was considered unfit.
HUH?!!?!?
Anyhow, what this means, no doubt, is that there will be a tie-breaker evaluation...if you can believe THAT nonsense.
Anyhow, I am back and will get to posting shortly.
