I suppose we can do it in the water. Kal was just heading into the water last. No, I dig that and appreciate it. What I should have said in my IC post was that the Atoll seems to react to the presence of living things. As long as any of us was still walking around on it, it was more likely to be snippy. And Joe... GREAT Streko post for the ritual. I loved the flavor of that.

Can I just ask about my last two posts in this thread (page 22)? I'm not pissed or anything but I asked for opinions on the idea that Adamant try to steady the boat from underneath. There weren't any replies. I guess I want to make sure there are no technical issues; everyone can see the post. And also to reassure that I don't offend easily. I'd much rather have you guys tell me "that's moronic! What are you, twelve?" than to hear nothing at all. I've been flamed on the net from way back when all there was was FTP, email, and usenet. (Okay, now I feel old)

It seemed like a good idea to me. I assumed Jeff would handle the details.

Who are you asking, Dave? I did acknowledge that somewhat in my post, but not everyone's actions were in perfect concert with everyone else's (as often happens) anyway. The water was too deep for Adamant to merely stand and hold the boat upright. Plus you had to keep moving. So I'm not sure what else to say.

Only one question...Kal doesn't actually have any powers with the Force keyword in it, does he?
Does anyone else? If so, it would probably make sense for Kal to hand it off to that person.
Also, FWIW, I'm ready to move on.

True, Kal has no force keyword spells of his own. But in the very least, it can be used with the wand of magic missiles I suspect you've forgotten about. But in truth, this shard is best employed in an area spell, so you can damage and knock a big group of people back.

I haven't forgotten about the wand. I just haven't found an instance where it's worth using it, yet. Except during the fight with Krez when it would have been very useful but I completely forgot about it.
Anyway.....
Again I ask...does anyone else have any powers for the Force keyword in them that might be able to make better use of this?

I've got about half of the character sheet pages "cleaned up" after the Google doc updated. Bear with me, folks.

Just to be completist, Adamant doesn't have any force powers either. You all probably guessed that.

Yes, intrigue!
Note to all non-'forged: you can't do any more than idle and talk a bit during the night if you want the benefit of an extended rest.

Jeff, before I post again, I just wanted to confirm - when we had our little (mis)adventure aboard the Patriot, we didn't find a sword with Lerrhana, did we? I just re-read through the posts of that battle, the only sword of note that I read about was in the hands of Krez. Which could be Lerrhana's, I suppose, but I wanted to make sure that we didn't otherwise see a sword that we would've assumed was hers.

Kal - The talky one.
Belarin - The crazy talky one.
Syrdan - The white-hued one with the big sword. (Big sword = easier to remember)
Shorak - The dark one.
Streko - The little talky one.
Condign - The red, horned one. Easy!

Jeff, how many coins did Shorak find on the Atoll? Also, did he get any insight to the nature of the bracers after examining them?

Oh, sorry about that, Dave. The coinage is exactly what you rolled, and I've already added that to your sheet. I've also added the bracers, which don't take long to identify. Remember, the person who picks up a magic item doesn't have to the one who ends up with it. So for example, if Shorak tends to favor his boomerang over using his short sword, then these bracers would be best given to a more melee fighter like Adamant or Condign.
