That makes sense to me, thanks.
Also, I'm going to hold back on my next post until after the bone dragon's next turn. Just in case Shorak fails one of those stunning saves. Wouldn't want to roll a crit just to have it negated by the dragon's breath weapon.
Are undead immune to poison? I could weaken the dragon if poison will affect it.

Good question. Most undead are immune to disease, fear, and poison.

Jeff, I'm not sure if I missed something, but was Belarin's Sudden Retaliation attack not added?

Thanks, Jeff.
Joe,
Just as a reminder, since it's easy to forget, the cleric's Healing Word is a MINOR action. Therefore, if Streko wanted to heal someone this round (say, Condign), he could. Since he hasn't taken a Move action, he's allowed to essentially "swap out" that Move action in order to take a second Minor action.

I would second the motion for giving Condign a Healing Word, if possible.
Syrdan might be able to pull our friend the skeletal dragon back onto land, but in doing so, he's most likely going to have to place it adjacent to Condign. Syrdan can also provide some additional healing to Condign, but that's totally dependent on the Healing Word being used first.

Our Fearless Leader is busy with Foreshadowy stuff today, so I'm relaying a message from Joe (who can't access DE at work) that he plans to revise his post sometime tonight to add Healing Word to Streko's actions. Huzzah!

Hehe, why do I get the feeling that Big Red is going to bite the Big One? Well, you do have an action point... you could second wind yourself or do some self-healing (for got what the Warlord version of Healing Word is)... Warlord, heal thyself!

If I'm not stunned again, that's the plan. As it stands, I can't do anything this round.

Dave B. Truly, I agree. And I'm willing to offer Mike all of Darren's XP earned during the fight. Just as an "at a boy." (Just kidding there, D-Man. )

This was a battle that was made to order for Syrdan. Get him in battle against a single opponent - particularly an undead one! - and he's a buzzsaw. (I'd specifically built the character to do this, so it was fun to see that the build actually did what I wanted, in the right circumstances.) The big critter's vulnerable 10 to radiant damage certainly helped, though. Especially since Syrdan got lucky and never missed him. By my count, the vulnerable 10 alone accounted for at least 60 points of damage from Syrdan. Definitely an exciting battle. Based on where we all were when it started, I wasn't quite sure how it was going to go!

Per the PHB, the ritual Make Whole works as follows:
A single object that can fit in a 10-foot cube is completely repaired. The component cost is 20 percent of the item’s cost. In cases where you attempt to repair an item not on any price list, the DM determines the cost.
The skiff itself wouldn't fit in a 10-foot cube, but perhaps most of the crack might?
I don't think we have to make the skiff seaworthy per se, just "seaworthy enough to sail a quarter mile without sinking". If Make Whole can't do that, I think we need to start looking at other options.
BTW, the Merrow Down didn't happen to have a second skiff/rowboat, did it?

Make Whole would definitely seal off most of the crack, certainly enough to make it last long enough to get to the Merrow.
All Streko needs is 10 minutes (which you MAY have) and sufficient ritual components. I will post later about the possibilities of this in the main thread.

Okay, how does this sound? Is it feasible?
Adamant doesn't need to breathe so he can't drown. Syrdan can stand on the water. If Streko and the other arcana helper get in the boat cam Adamant stand under the boat and sort of hold it up? It would get the boat out to sea a bit.
Everyone else would have to swim for 10 mins.
Adamant can't help with arcana but would keeping tue boat stable and not sinking with a Strength check be useful?
Is that too weird?

I think there is some difference in action going on. Are you guys intending to try to enact this 10-minute ritual right here at the edge of the Atoll as more skeletons arise?

I'm with Joe. We do this on the move, swimming/wading/walking on the water as we go, and this means everyone, I think.

If we go with what I said above (Adamant playing Atlas in the water) we're in water that's 7 to 7.5 feet deep.
