Shameless Self-Promotion: I was honored to be picked as one of this month's "Artists To Watch" by INDISTR and Ultimate Ears. If you go to my page on UE you can see what I'm talking about, plus you can listen to two of my tracks, one of which is an exclusive first look at my upcoming album, GMOVJ. The icing on the cake is that I also get a set of in-ear monitor headphones, which they sell for about $250. I'm quite excited for that. I've got some big big BIG news for next week. Just wanted to say that my lable, Sidedown Audio, is now live! www.sidedown.com/audioWe've got two albums for sale right now, and you know both of us! My new & improved RPM Disc, GMOVJ is on there, and then the really awesome album by Jeremy Simmons called Castrovalva is also available. While I'll say (shamelessly) that both albums are terrific, I'm VERY happy with the way Castrovalva came out. It looks great, sounds great... just overall some terrific work. Jeremy's songs are immediately enjoyable and then grow on you even more after that. So, really great work Jer. I'm glad to have your work on the label. Hell, yeah! Castrovalva is good stuff. I've had those songs forever now and I'm still buying this new release. I can personally vouch for some of these songs. I've played them over and over in my iPod.  I'll also be posting about in this in the next day or so on my website. Support your fellow PCs! |

Ah, Marcy....the thought had crossed my mind.  Guys, that really sucks. I'm very sorry for both of you. I think Josh was right with what he said on Jeff's website, though. Things like this are going to happen, and you can't take it personally or let it get to you. If you want to be an author, be an author. Keep writing, despite what happened. The real losers, of course and as others have said, are those of us who will never get to read what you wrote. But I am certain that two writers as talented as you will find other outlets for your creativity and that your careers as published authors will not end with WotC. Besides....Kal deserves more than a cameo. He deserves an entire book.  |
