Diagnosed with pharyngitis this morning. Came home because I was starting to feel worse. Now have a fever, headache, runny nose and a bitch of a sore throat. Gonna get some sleep. Will log in tomorrow evening. Give my best to Michael.

Out of town for the day....going to a natural hot springs up near Victorville...a bit of a hike, but should be nice to get away from things for a little bit. Will check back in this evening (also, corporation I am in in EVE Online is about to go to war AGAIN...ugh...). Isn't online life just GRAND? :-)

Natural hot springs?! You crazy Californians. To me, that would sound more inviting in, like, January.

It was nearly disastrous. I am so out of shape I literally thought I would need to helicopter to fly me out (how bloody embarassing). It is about a 1500 foot drop over 2 miles from the parking lot to the springs. They were beautiful, but the climb back up almost didn't happen. Dizziness, cramping, nausea, numbness and out of breath almost the entire time. Still, all in all, it was a good time (just not the coming back up part). Today, my calves are in extreme agony and my quads aren't much better. The jacuzzi is calling me and I will have to heed that call after dinner methinks.

Talk about strenuous. I know I could use that kind of workout. Might have been rough, Joe, but it probably was good for the ticker.

Guys: so, my internet is totally down at home (yay, Verizon), and my initial call to tech support baffled them, though they admitted the problem was on their end. I'm supposed to get a call back from the next level of support, except I'll be gone for the rest of today and some of tomorrow.
I may have Internet where I'll be tonight. If so, I'll post again then!
Sorry for the delay...

I'll be away pretty much all of today (Saturday), so I'll probably post next tomorrow sometime; morning or night, I'm not sure.

Since you asked....awesome. There are a few gripes, but that's more about real life and logistics than about U2. I really enjoyed myself. And also: ashlock.org/post.php?post_id=1183

Been swamped with work all day today, am dog tired, and am about to head out to see Springsteen at Giants Stadium tonight and freeze my butt off. Whee!
I'll post again on Thursday.

Have fun, Ken! And tell Bruce to give a shout out to Bono, as Bono did for Bruce when I saw U2 last week on the aforementioned Boss's birthday.

I'll post again Wednesday morning sometime. Don't want to do so too lightly. Too much going on in-game at the moment. Important stuff, you know? For the record, on Friday my wife and I are off to Salem for our annual pilgrimage. We return late Sunday night. It's not very likely I'll be online at all throughout that time. But I should be fairly active until then.

So I'm off. There's a chance I can check once late each night through Sunday. We'll see.
Have a good weekend, guys.

For some reason, I posted this morning and now it's totally gone. Guess I'll have to try again when I'm home late Sunday night....or Monday morning. Salem rules. They don't drown 'em or burn 'em here, though. Just hang and press 'em.

Oddly, I've discovered what happened to your previous attempt at posting, Jeff. It somehow got backdated to October 7.

Whoa...you're right! How in the world did you find/notice that? I've gone ahead and removed the back-post and slightly modified my most recent post accordingly.

I decided to re-read last week's posts just to refresh my memory before posting. When I saw your post from "October 7," I thought, "Huh, I don't remember this AT ALL. My brain is going." Then when I saw your new post, everything clicked.

Sorry for the lull. My life recently, but especially the last few days, has been nothing but a series of hospital trips and medical wars for both my in-laws. Some days it seems it's ALL we do.
At the same time, I have to wait for you guys to come to some concensus on what to do next. The NPCs are not going to decide, or assume anything, for you.
But I'm still checking in frequently.

I've had zero free time lately. I'm so strapped for time that I haven't been able to put together some sort of Halloween thing for DE like I like to do. Mess with the avatars or change around the DE logo. Bleh. No time.
I'll try to get things going again in a day or two. Sorry.

Hahaha! No, Darren, I think that'll always be more fitting with you handling a full array of college credits while directing A Few Good Men.

Heya. I'm in NJ tonight, staying with my grandmother (grandfather's in the hospital), so my next post could be...tomorrow, maybe. Depending on where I'm at and if there's any more posts first.

Family first , Jeff. I will be going back to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan for my first deer hunting trip! I leave next Thursday, November 12th and will be back Tuesday November 17th. I won't have any chance to post during that time. My middle brother is very pumped for this. As for me, well, let's see if I can actually pull the trigger.

Condign would just leap on the deer and stab it with his sword. You should try that.

I may be able to e-mail Jeff a picture if something notable happens. I'll leave it up to him if he wants to post it.
