Tomorrow being Thanksgiving and all, I expect DE will get quiet for a couple days. (Although if you could all post sometime today, for those who haven't this current combat round, that would be great.)
I'll be leaving tonight and returning tomorrow night, that's all.

Guys, I'll be leaving tomorrow at noon for SF for a wedding and won't be back til Sunday evening. Don't know if I'll have time or access to post while I'm gone. This should be the last time I'm out of town until after the baby is born, though, so hopefully I won't hold up the game for you all anymore after that. |

Between Tuesday and early Friday morning, I will be traveling to California for a business trip. Sounds more fun than it will actually be, trust me. December is my time. To go where there's not even a real possibility of snow....saddens me. Still, Joe is in California, so two members of the DE crew will share a time zone for a while. As this is a business trip, I fully expect to have Internet access, at least in the evenings. I may not be able to check in much at various points today. But keep posting, keep playing, I'll still be here. You ain't gettin' off that easy. |

Guys, I'm gonna hold things up until after Christmas, if that's all right with you. I'll be driving down to my grandparents' place tomorrow, returning Thursday. I'll probably post again on Friday. Welcome back, Marcy! Hope you're doing all right? I didn't break Charis. She's still okay. Better, thanks. Still itching, but it's (mostly) bearable. Had bloodwork done on the 29th, get the sutures out on the 2nd, should hopefully find out if it's Fifth Disease on the 5th (if it's something else, I'll have to wait for the biopsy results, probably the 9th). If it IS Fifth, that will mean weekly ultrasounds for the rest of the pregnancy to monitor the baby for fetal anemia, and could possibly require an intra-uterine blood transfusion, but hopefully it won't come to that. Thanks for not breaking Charis! |

I had never heard of Fifth Disease until two years ago, when my sister-in-law thought she had it. I said, "They named a disease after a number?!" But I've learned that it sucks. Marcy, my thoughts and best wishes are with you. Happy New Year, everyone!
