Bear with me, guys! Between now and mid-Wednesday, I'll be running back and forth between two hospitals to help out my brother (appendicitis) and my 89-year-old grandfather (eye surgery)! The upside to being unemployed is being more available for friends and family. Oh,and Happy Birthday tomorrow, Mr. Rixman! |

Thank you for the birthday wishes. At 44, I am pretty sure I'm the oldest player here...or on Earth for that matter...LOL!! Thank you for making this a fun place to stop by. All of you truly make this a wonderful place.
I should log in tomorrow after I come home (taking my mom out to lunch and celebrating both our b-days...her's is next Tuesday).

Brother with acute appendicitius, now taken care of and he's in recuperation. Grandfather had cataract surgery today, and after I take him to the follow-up appointment tomorrow I head home. DE gameplay resumes tomorrow in force. Be ready. ;D

hey guys. I'm stuck in PA for two more days and while I have Internet access, the AC adapter for my laptop broke so I only have access on my phone. I also have a show all day Saturday so I might not be able to post again until Sunday.

I'll be largely unavailable over the next three days (Friday-Sunday). Once or twice a year, I get together with my old Massachusetts gaming group from the '90s for a gaming weekend, mostly Cthulhu and horror adventures. I'll be running a cool little story, "The Nightmare Closet," by our friend Jeff, although I'm updating it for 4E and I'm mostly using races and classes from the Player's Handbook 2 just to get a better feel for the new stuff. I'll let you know how it goes! The hotel does have free wifi, so I may check in, but I could be too far gone to post coherently. Drinking is another large part of our reunion weekend. If necessary to blast a hole in the wall again, Belarin will happily use the witchfire invocation. |

Yeah, thanks. We'll just be rolling dice and getting nostalgic over drinks in the hotel. No driving involved. As for drinking and Belarin, I almost reacted to this line earlier (italics mine): "Belarin examines the cylinder, but it will take a few minutes of focus (with little conversation on his part) for him to do so." I thought, "Well, we're not getting very far in THAT case...!"  |

I'm taking another trip this weekend, this time to visit friends in the Boston area. I'll be gone from Friday afternoon through Tuesday afternoon, and I doubt I'll be able to check in, but there's a slight possibility. After this, I think I'm done with weekend getaways until June.
