Streko casts Remove Curse upon Condign's armor. Wow, thanks, Joe. I have been so upset with myself over this armor that I was ready to have Condign ditch it. I had quietly hoped Histra had a remove curse spell. I'd never thought to consider Streko. |

You may still have to ditch it, Brian; the only possible difference now is that you'll be ABLE to:
"At your touch, all curses affecting one creature or object end. If the object is a cursed magic item, its curse remains, but the spell breaks its owner’s attunement to the object so it can be removed or discarded."

If it is now plain old scale armor, couldn't Condign wear it until something better comes along? He'd be vulnerable without any armor.
Also, Condign could always remove the armor: he took a piece off back at the lighthouse. And I was informed the armor did not require attunement as it stood with the curse. Now, whether removing the curse took away all the armor's magical properties, or whether the armor might now require attunement, or the other attributes of the armor will surface without the curse, I'll have to wait on Jeff to let me know.

Hey Jeff - You have Shorak's current hp at 7. By my math, he took a total of 40 damage and some of that was against temp hp. Plus the 7 points of healing, shouldn't he at least be around 31 hp?

Actually I think I'm wrong... hey, even rare occurrences sometimes happen... I think Adamant used 2 5pt uses of Lay on Hands to remove conditions from Condign and Kal, right? So I think I only have 25 pts left.
I do have 4 Hit Dice I could use to regain hp if we call this a short rest... how about we all burn a few HD and then see where we are? Does that make sense?

The 7-hit-point heal from Streko was applied on Feb 24, according the file history, but yeah, somewhere it dropped big time and that was after the emissary's big hits on him. So I can only guess I mistyped or something. Just to be sure, no one else is modifying the Quickstats tab, right?
I think he had 32, got 7 healing, then took 2 necrotic damage. So I'm going to set Shorak's hit points to 37. Sorry for the confusion. I guess that was my fault. I probably went to type 37 and didn't hit the "3" hard enough!
Do me a favor, guys. If you are opting for spending hit dice or whatever, keep that in the main thread. Discuss here, but keep official things there. Makes it easier to track later!

Well, gents. Chapter 12 has concluded, and I'm giving everyone 2,500 XP for all the great roleplaying that happened therein. So every single one of you has just hit level 9.
BAM, done!
Let's tackle leveling stuff in the 5E Q&A thread just to make it easier to find later, but I'll leave this thread unlocked for a little while longer in case you guys want to say anything else. Nicely done. Give me a bit to get Chapter 13 started.
