We added one more unexpected day to our trip so I won’t be back home until late tonight/Monday. Probably won’t be posting again until Tuesday morning.

Ah, Lancaster. We were roughly in the area of Hershey today as we drove through Pennsylvania on Day 1 of our final drive to Texas.
We'll be on the road from now through Friday, but I should be able to get off a post each day.

do you guys ever wake up with a song in your head? Colleen thinks it's weird but I often do. Not like, oh, the alarm is set to a radio station (I just use my iPhone's alarm app), and not the last song you heard but just a random song. Like this morning I woke up to The Mother We Share but Chvrches. I don't know when the last time I heard that song was.

All the time. And it's not just limited to random songs. It's also random ancient commercial jingles. I'm plagued by this. Like the Crispy Critters song. Here, you listen. I can't be the only one. I know it's not right, but I want to punch that kid. |

Yep, me too. Almost every mornng a song pops into my head. It's usually gone by the time I've showered. I kind of enjoy it.

FYI: Sue and I will be traveling to Canada Saturday for a brief holiday (we'll be back Wednesday afternoon/evening). The cottage we usually stay at now has WiFi, and I'll have my computer (in case of work stuff), so I should keep up with my posting.
To cross, we need results for COVID tests. I just had my first experience with a swab up my nose!

I'll be largely unavailable this weekend. Sunday is the last day of my kid's summer camp in PA, so I'm flying to Philly tomorrow, staying with Mike Ferguson that night in Bethlehem, and then picking up Jordan on Sunday and flying back to Texas.
If Belarin's turn comes up again this weekend, he'll turn around and aid Shorak if he's still being harassed by the galeb duhr. He'll go into melee to provoke the galeb duhr into hitting the icy armor. Otherwise, Belarin will continue moving up.
