That's cool, Mike. Weekends are generally that way for most of us, I think, and I believe Josh is generally not around on weekends anyway.

Just as an FYI - lots of things happening right now. Aside from my father's final days being much closer than further, I also have a writing deadline in 6 days, followed by another one 4 weeks after that (for which I haven't even started writing anything) and a third (hypothetical at this point, as it is already 3 months past due and the developer isn't telling me shit) that could pop up at any time. I am swamped at work and just feeling pulled from every direction simultaneously. Needless to say, I'm tired and stressed and just a tad bitchy sometimes...so please bear with me as I try to make some time to do this, which I very much enjoy.

Okay, everyone. I've posted, and as you'll see the battle is actually over now anyway. Unless someone posts any overt actions that provoke more enemies, the characters can probably talk safely in low tones for the next few days while Darren is gone, approximating maybe a few minutes of rest in-game.

I'm leaving this afternoon for the funeral in CA, and won't be back til next Tuesday or Wednesday. I don't know if I'll be able to check in during that time or not.
Jeff, assuming we get the ooze out of the room, Charis will check out the vacated chest and also open the easternmost door, unless the party is really following the drooling guy out of the room they are currently in. Other than that, feel free to run her as you see fit until I get back -- I don't want to hold up the game.

Marcy, I'm pretty sure I speak for everyone when I say that we will all gladly wait for as long as you need. This is a horrible thing you have to deal with, and I know all of us feel terribly for you. Take whatever time you need and please, don't for a second worry about us.

But I certainly won't be posting much, maybe once a day at most. It also depends on what happens next... I also want Marcy to have a chance to catch up when she returns. Yeah, a bit of a delay on my posting today: I just got a voicemail from my wife, saying she had to call 911 for her dad, whose health condition continues to slowly worsen. So the rest of my day will be at the emergency room. On my way home right now.
This isn't the first time...but, such is the way.
