Are you...asking something? Of course, it would have been better if I had moved her first, yes (on her turn in the previous round). Sorry about that. But even if you saw that first, what then? You'd have to move to use Scorching Ray again without all of your targets getting cover from Histra.

Also, it's fine for Kal to feel frustrated by her location. She's not part of the team and wouldn't predict your actions. Not that you guys don't constantly get in each other's way, too, because battle strategies are not something this group talks about much, certainly not in-game.

No, it's fine. I wasn't suggesting that I would have done anything differently (I don't think), I was just expressing frustration at Histra being a pain in Kal's ass.

If you only knew what went on in Histra's cabin, you'd understand why she's grumpy. I'll explain it to you when you're older. ;-)

Healing potions? You mean those actually exist in Jeff's game? Who knew?!

Magically bolstered by her spell, she reaches the space between Belarin and one of her skeletons and immediately kneels. There is now something in her hand, a necklace of some kind. She slips it around Belarin's neck that rattles like bones, and in the midst of the fight Condign can hear her whispering something to him...or cursing at him? Jeff, just to be clear, by "him" you mean Belarin, or is Histra whispering/cursing Condign? The pronoun use is a little confusing.

Sorry, the "him" is Belarin in this case. Condign needs to wait his turn ; I'm sure Histra will have curses for all of us in due course...

You slackers need to finish this... I mean we have three characters leaking on the ground... you spell casters need to cast your Destroy All Non-Allies spells and non-casters have to use their Cuisinart of Doom combat maneuvers. Alternatively, can someone skip to the end of the story and let us know how it works out? It's all very tense...

I'm surprised no one has cast I Want My Mommy yet. Or at least Calgon, Take Me Away!

Oy vey. The sad part is, we're doing all of this, probably won't even survive, and if somehow we do...we still have to figure out how the heck to get out of here!
Jeff, you're a monster....

Adamant wants an oil bubble bath... And for the record if we followed Adamant's advice we'd be frolicking and making merry in green fields under rainbows with happy fae creatures delivering us mead and warm bread...

I hope Streko has some healing left for Histra. Without her, I have no idea how we're getting out of here...

Spare the Dying is a cantrip, so Streko can cast it every round if he likes. However, it just stabilizes, not revives, and I think Streko -- like most of the characters -- is tapped out until a rest.

I'm limited in what I can do or say {cough cough} stabilize Histra {cough cough} at least on this world.

Belarin, Condign, Kal, Streko, and Shorak just got 1800 XP for defeating the tree and the dogs. Much more than this is coming soon (probably). Story and quest-based stuff. Wait and see.

I imagine we're all waiting to see whether or not Histra is alive.... That'll have an impact on what happens next.

Hey, Jeff. A pair of out-of-game logistics questions:
- I know that Streko is out of magical healing. Is there, in fact, any way that he can get Histra and Belarin on their feet again without resting? - About how long did it take for Kal and the gang to get from the castle to where they are now?

So, we don't have a single healing potion among all of us?
If anyone needs to be on their feet, it's Adamant. I don't think we could even consider carrying him.

So, we don't have a single healing potion among all of us? Yes, I think I mentioned how we need to strategize about effin' healing potions!
