XP each PC earned for slaying the ooze, the devil flies, and the possessed human: 115A milestone has been reached (two encounters with no "extended rest" between them). From the Player's Handbook:
You gain certain benefits when you reach a milestone—when you complete two encounters without stopping for an extended rest.
Your character starts with 1 action point. No more than once per encounter, you can spend an action point to take an extra action, use certain feats, or use paragon path powers. When you spend an action point, it’s gone, but you can gain more in two ways: by reaching a milestone or by taking an extended rest. Each time you reach a milestone, you gain an action point. After you take an extended rest, you lose any action points you haven’t spent, but you start fresh with 1 action point. Therefore everyone gains 1 action point (noted with the "•" symbols in my signature below).

XP each PC earned for defeating imps, a warforged, and a small army of zombies: 335
I'm considering the imp encounter and the zombie encounter together as one milestone, so everyone gets an action point.

XP each PC earned for defeating a skeleton archer, 1½ gargoyles, a gaggle of ghouls, a giant beetle, and a reaver (the apparition): 400
More XP will come if you "conclude" the quest that brought you to the tomb in the first place, by surviving and returning to the quest-givers.

Man, only 400 experience for all that fighting!? This guy is tough....at this rate, we might level up again some time in late 2011.

Darren, you're not really complaining that, since we entered this tomb, we've gone fully one-third of the way from 5th level to 6th, are you? Sounds like a pretty good progression.

In all seriousness, I have no idea what's normal. I just like to complain about everything. It's true. Darren was my roommate for a semester in college. I can vouch for this. But hey, Darren, here's a tip: next time the party faces some bad guys, have Kal hold up his hand and say, "I've got this one, guys. It's all me." Because do you realize that if Kal had fought his way through the tomb alone, he'd have 2,400 XP by now? Or, he'd be very very dead, and the monster that killed him would have earned some nice XP. ;D

XP each PC earned for meeting with 'Z' and bringing the City of the Dead quest to its "conclusion": 420 Which actually brings everyone above 7,500 XP.
That's right, folks. Everyone's leveling up. Welcome to level 6! We'll hash out details in the private threads, okay?
I'll boost the basic numbers soon, which will take effect in-game immediately. But what you'll have to decide is:
1 new feat 1 new level 6 utility power
Those won't kick in until you get an extended rest. And no, the sleep-inducing gas isn't counting for that. You'll see.
