This is a lot of lead time, but I leave one week from today for a conference in Nashville. This hotel definitely has wireless high-speed internet access! I'll be able to check in/post later that Saturday evening and then fairly regularly after that. I'll check in no less than once a day. I'll be back the following Friday (two weeks from yesterday) and will again check in/post that night. Next Sunday I'll only be able to post in the morning. I play in a charity golf outing later that afternoon and knowing financial advisors as I do, there will be plenty of "refreshments" on the course and afterwards. Not that I would partake, of course.  |

Hey, guys. I'm on a jobsite all day today, which means that while I'll probably end up checking in on my phone during a break, I won't really be able to post until tonight.

Probably won't be back until late tonight. Tomorrow will probably be the same deal where I can check-in in the morning and not again until late at night. Don't get into too much trouble.

No problem, Mike. Today I have to take Marisa for some [hopefully minor] surgery. So I'll be out for most of the day.

It's almost 11pm, I've been at the hospital for about 12 hours now. My guess is, no post from me until early morning (if I get out of here soon) or late morning (if I don't).

Ugh. Jeff, this is getting to be a bad pattern with you. I hope it's nothing serious. Since I'm not a praying man, I'll simply say that my heart goes out to you with sincere hopes for the best and with fond wishes that you can stop making trips to the hospital for a long time after this.

It is a pattern, unfortunately. Sometimes it's not so bad...other times it's worrisome.
Marisa's doing fine; she's safe. But there's just plenty of speedbumps ahead. To make a metaphor out of it.

Btw, monday may be a difficult day for me with posting. My wife, Colleen, is having surgery. I'm not sure what my schedule will be like on Monday or Tuesday, but I'll post when I can. They may be shortish posts.

Thanks guys. I don't want to make too much of it; it's a commonly done surgery and there's no reason for worry other than, of course, it is surgery. And I do like waiting on my wife.  it's just going to be a bit shedule-disturbing for a while. |

There's a pretty good chance I'll be gone for a couple days, starting tomorrow morning. I should be able to post again before I go, and I might even be able to post once while I'm away, if wi-fi can be had anywhere on my trip.
As for tonight/tomorrow, I'll wait for Joe to weigh in, and then I'll post.

Blah! This hotel's "free wireless" isn't working out so great. So I may not be able to post in the main gameplay thread (too hard to do via blackberry) until possibly Thursday.
Still, should I find some wifi somewhere else...maybe check in again tomorrow (Wed) night?
