Shorak looks at the lights in wonder. "Beautiful." He whispers, even as he crouches down in the crow's nest to avoid any low hanging stalagtites. "I can't wait to see the open sky again." Shorak mutters to himself. If Brack starts singing maniacally ala Gene Wilder, we are all doomed!.

Streko glances up at Starg briefly and smiles. "Having you at my side is oddly soothing, Master Minotaur. Either that, or my body is so drained of energy that I am already half-dreaming. This lightshow isn't helping." A minotaur's mouth never really seems capable of producing a human- or halfling-like smile, but Starg seems to try. Wet and exhausted looking, his ears flick back in a way Streko has come to associate with positive emotions. "I am glad to have you beside me as well, Lord Streko. It has been a trying few days." Brack calls out, "This isn't the best time for any spell-flinging, by the way. What with the Kythri plane-crossing." Beside Kal, Sem nods. To Kal he says, "Makes sense. But it's a shame. I was going to use some cantrips to try and rid us of the wet minotaur smell." The fog that Melethos has been eyeing is swallowed up again by the darkness behind the Dragonfly. Not a speck of light is showing . . . so the danger must be growing . . . are the fires of hell a'glowin'? Is the grizzly reaper mowing?
End of chapter 17. Stay tuned.
